The design is by Kazunari Hattori, who also designed the book Kakuchō suru Fashion [Expanding Fashion] and the exhibition itself. The catalog opens with newly photographed exhibition views by Takashi Homma and includes interviews with the eleven participating artists, reports on events held at Art Tower Mito, and texts by contributors such as Nakako Hayashi and the exhibition curator,etc. It is a richly comprehensive volume.
Every day, we choose our clothes and dress ourselves. When we shift our attention from fashion as a trend or object of consumption to fashion as a means of self-expression, we begin to realize that our everyday lives hold a space of great freedom and personal expression.
